Amica Wronki SA Selects MobileIron For Multi-OS Mobile Security
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2013, Amica Wronki SA, the leading Central European supplier of household appliances, recognized the transformative power of mobilizing its more than 2,000 employees. The company selected MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL), the leader in mobile enterprise security, to secure and manage a range of Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices. Today, Amica employees use Docs@Work for mobile file sharing and Web@Work for mobile intranet access. Amica is supported by distributor headtechnology and reseller Inteco Business Solutions.
"Our employees have used mobile email for years, but we wanted to empower them to access the intranet and share files from a range of mobile devices," said Jerzy Zielinski, CIO of Amica Capital Group, a subsidiary of Amica Wronki SA. "We needed a platform that would give employees a great experience while keeping our data secure. After evaluating some of the leading enterprise mobility management solutions, it was clear that MobileIron was the right choice."

Transforming business with mobility
Amica Capital Group employees use smartphones and tablets to securely access important documents in their home shared folders and SharePoint repositories through Docs@Work. They manage HR workflows on the go by accessing Amica's company intranet through Web@Work, no VPN connection required.
"We have experienced faster access to key data as a result of mobilizing employees. Moreover, employees have access worldwide, no matter where they are or which device they have," said Zielinski. "At the same time, I am confident that we have the protections and policies in place to protect vital corporate information."
Mobile made easy
In addition to enabling secure access to key data, Zielinski's team needed a robust enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution that would help them quickly and easily provision devices running different operating systems: Android, iOS and Windows Phone. His team also needed a dashboard to manage access to backend repositories and to wipe devices that are lost or stolen.
"Our people in various roles use mobility differently. A sales person on the road will need access to different resources than a senior executive," said Zielinski. "MobileIron makes it simple to get an employee the right access on the device of their choice."
