AMI Chief Digital Officer Joe Bilman, architect of AMI's digital strategy, has been instrumental in growing the new and redesigned platforms. "Shape, Fit Pregnancy, Men's Fitness, Radar Online, Muscle and Fitness, and OK! all registered double-digit growth in unique visits and page views," said Joe Bilman. "The across-the-board positive metrics are proof that AMI's $30 million investment in digital is paying off."
In the women's category, Shape saw a near tripling of unique visits in one year, from 3.25 million visits in January 2012 to over 9 million in January 2013. Fit Pregnancy also saw a marked increase, with a leap of 312% for unique visits in one year.
In the men's category, Men's Fitness was up a mind-boggling 416% year over year in unique visits. Page views jumped 297% from 3.6 million to 14.3 million. Muscle & Fitness saw a large increase, with unique visits up 190% and page views up 132%.
Radar Online has also seen impressive numbers growth, with a record-breaking 81 million page views in January 2013. "The site is better, faster and more engaging, and as a result, page views were up 40% compared to before the relaunch," noted AMI Chief Digital Officer Joe Bilman.
