CLEARWATER, Fla., Nov. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lee Jay Hart, who left his job as a police officer 15 years ago for a career as an insurance sales agent, was named today the President of AmeriLife's Career Agency Division.

A 46-year-old Polk County resident who built his local AmeriLife & Health Services sales office into an unrivaled powerhouse within the company, Hart – now working from Clearwater's AmeriLife Place corporate headquarters – will lead the 40 Career Agency offices located throughout the southeastern United States and Texas.

Hart, who began as a life and health insurance sales agent, worked his way up to the position of General Manager of the Winter Haven office of AmeriLife & Health Services. Under his leadership, his office was named AmeriLife's top agency seven consecutive times, and Hart was named AmeriLife & Health Service's General Manager of the Year the same seven years.
Hart said he intends to expand the size and productivity of the Career Agency division, while implementing his "Plan your work and work your plan" mantra of success. "I know a number of agents who will be groomed for management and leadership positions," he said. "These veteran agents will be the future General Managers of the offices we intend to open in the near future."
Colin St. Pierre, a Vice President with AmeriLife & Health Services, was promoted to President of Operations. St. Pierre will lead the Career Agency's planning, development and operational efforts; he has a vast knowledge of finance and budgeting, and contract negotiation. St. Pierre, who has been with AmeriLife for 11 years, will work closely with Hart to double the size of AmeriLife's Career Agency Division in the next five years.
