Americord Announces #Bankonbaby Winner

NEW YORK, Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Americord, the fastest growing cord blood bank in the country, and a leader in the advancement of umbilical cord blood, cord tissue, and placenta tissue banking, has successfully concluded their National Cord Blood Awareness Month campaign. 

Thanks to the support and commitment of the Cord Blood Ambassadors, over 316,000 social media users were able to learn more about the potentially lifesaving benefits of banking cord blood and cord tissue.

At the close of the campaign, Americord is showing their appreciation to those who participated by awarding the contest winner, Laura Adams, a $500 Amazon Gift Card and the other Cord Blood Ambassadors a special $300 discount towards cord blood banking. 

In addition to recognizing the campaign supporters, Americord will make a $15,000 charitable donation to help advance its dual campaign goals of science and education. The donation will be apportioned between Duke University, Parent's Guide to Cord Blood, and Save The Cord Foundation.
