America's Natural Gas Alliance Names Sarah K. Magruder Lyle to Lead its External Affairs
WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- America's Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) has named Sarah K. Magruder Lyle to be its Vice President of External Affairs. Magruder Lyle comes to ANGA with a strong background in energy policy, strategic planning, government relations and political affairs.
In this position, Magruder Lyle will work to cultivate partnerships with local, state and national constituencies to promote ANGA's goal of expanding the use of abundant, clean, American natural gas.
"We are thrilled that Sarah has joined us to help advance public awareness of the environmental and economic benefits of domestically produced natural gas," said ANGA President and CEO Regina Hopper. "Her breadth of experience in the energy and political sectors make her a great addition to our team as we continue to build support across the political spectrum for the increased use of American natural gas."
Magruder Lyle recently served as counsel to the Institute for 21st Century Energy, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she advised on a broad range of energy and environmental matters. "As policymakers look for ways to create jobs, improve air quality in their communities and reduce our country's dependence on foreign sources of energy, natural gas provides an opportunity that is ready right now to help meet these goals," Magruder Lyle said. "I look forward to taking the news of this abundant, clean domestic energy source to audiences across the country."
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Transylvania University, and earned a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law.
