Americas Cardroom Closes the OSS XL After Standout Runs by Moneymaker, Moorman and Kuhn

The 336-event series featured a four-title run, a late $15,400 win and a six-figure Main Event finish.

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom has closed the OSS XL after a September 6-29 schedule featuring 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees, with Americas Cardroom Pros Chris Moneymaker, Chris Moorman, Alex Foxen and Rob Kuhn among the leading names, alongside results from Stormers and members of the wider community.

Moneymaker finished sixth in the $25,500 NLH 8-Max on September 27 for $78,285, then won the $15,400 NLH 8-Max one day later for $214,987.50. Foxen, playing as OutFoxenYou, finished runner-up for $157,216.50 as the 49-entry event created a $735,000 prize pool.

"It wasn't until the final two days that I actually found my rhythm, cashed the $25K and won the $15K, kind of saving my OSS and making me pretty highly profitable. But it was tough," Moneymaker said.

Moorman collected four OSS XL titles across the series. His wins came in OSS XL #37H for $14,100, OSS XL #148H Mystery Bounty for $9,665.70, OSS XL #276M Mystery Bounty Turbo for $1,707.19, and OSS XL #347, a $40,000 guaranteed Loncar Daily Double tournament, for $8,870.83.

Kuhn added another late highlight. After winning the $1,700 Moneymaker Tour Main Event in Aruba on September 27 for $155,670, he finished sixth in the $2,650 OSS XL Main Event two days later for $107,322.25. The online Main Event drew 1,069 entries and generated a $2,672,500 prize pool.

Community results included a win by Americas Cardroom Stormer Blasnair in OSS XL #314 for $4,514.82, while TowTruckTTV pulled a $7,500 Mystery Bounty in OSS XL #7. The next major tournament stretch begins with the Dual Venom PKOs, running October 4-21 with $5 million guaranteed in NLH and $1.5 million guaranteed in PLO.
