American Way Names Winners of Annual 'Road Warrior' Contest
FORT WORTH, Texas, March 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- You've waited patiently for this moment, so let the news be told. We have a winner. Actually, it's five winners.
For the eighth year, American Way, the inflight magazine of American Airlines, conducted its annual Road Warrior Contest. This year's contestants were required to answer a series of multiple choice questions, give the top eight reasons they consider themselves true road warriors, and compose a travel adventure essay using the album title, song titles, and band or artist's name from their favorite music album.

- Second Prize – Amy Zimmer of Murrells Inlet, S.C. The five winners participated in a photo shoot in the legendary music town of Austin, Texas. The special American Way issue featuring the winners on the cover and throughout the magazine will be onboard all American Airlines flights until March 31.
"This year's contest was unique because one of the contest tasks – the travel adventure essay – became the theme for the photo shoot.
