American Way Magazine Wins North American Travel Journalists Association Awards
FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American Way, the inflight magazine of American Airlines and American Eagle, was honored with three Gold (First Place) medals and two Silver (Second Place) medals in the prestigious North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) Awards. Awards went to publications, travel writers and photographers whose work was represented in print and electronic media. Additionally, awards were given to top convention and visitors bureaus, PR agencies and destination marketing organizations. The competition, now in its 20th year, honors the "best of the best" of travel writing, photography and promotion that covers all aspects of the travel industry worldwide.
American Way magazine awards include Best In-Flight Magazine, Best Local Lifestyle Feature and Best Byline Travel Column – Greater than 250,000 Circulation. Second Place wins were in the categories of Sports and Recreation and Portrait, People.
