American University Kogod School of Business to Offer Accelerated One-year Online MBA Program
WASHINGTON, Oct. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American University Kogod School of Business announced today it will offer an accelerated one-year online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program through MBA@American. The accelerated program is for students and professionals who are motivated to complete the rigorous MBA coursework in a shortened time frame.
MBA@American is one of very few programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) that can be completed in as little as one year. AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

MBA@American is designed and led by Kogod's renowned faculty and takes a collaborative approach to preparing tomorrow's business leaders. Through a blend of live online classes, in-person immersion experiences and engaging assignments, students develop the critical skills needed to solve complex business challenges and lead in a team-based environment.
The one-year MBA@American track offers the same curriculum as the traditional program and will require students to complete 48 credits and two in-person immersions. Students in the one-year program may also choose to focus nine elective credits into one of five concentrations: marketing, finance, international business, business analytics or consulting.
Each year, there are four opportunities to begin the program, with admissions decisions being made on a rolling basis. The first application deadline is November 23, 2015 and the first class begins in January 2016.
