American Trucking Associations Hosts First-Ever MCE 5K Fun Run/Walk

New Event Kicks Off Federation's Annual Meeting

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the American Trucking Associations announced it would be kicking off its annual Management Conference & Exhibition by hosting its first-ever 5K fun run/walk race.

"As part of our continuing effort to find new ways to engage MCE attendees, we are excited to debut this new 5K race," said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. "In addition to being an invigorating start to the conference, this race speaks to ATA's commitment to the health and wellness of our industry."

The race –sponsored by Velociti and Rolling Strong – will begin at 7:00 am on Saturday, October 21 in front of the Hyatt Regency Orlando, and MCE attendees can register for free the morning of the race up until 6:45 a.m.

ATA will announce our winners in both the men's and women's divisions at the ATA Leadership and Awards Lunch on Sunday.
