WASHINGTON, July 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Red Cross has elected to its National Board of Governors David A. Brandon, Chairman of Domino's and Toys"R"Us.
The Red Cross is led by a Board of Governors with all of the powers of governing and directing, as well as overseeing the management of the business and affairs of the organization. At the Annual Meeting of the Red Cross held on July 19, 2018, delegates from local Red Cross units elected Brandon to a three-year term.

David A. Brandon is currently Chairman of Toys"R"Us, Inc. and until recently, also served as Chief Executive Officer. Before that, he served as Director of Intercollegiate Athletics for his alma mater, the University of Michigan. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Domino's Pizza where, for 11 years, he led the company to unprecedented growth and the successful completion of the largest initial public offering in restaurant history. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brandon served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Valassis Communications and worked at Procter & Gamble Co. In addition to serving as chairman of the board of Domino's, he is also a member of the board of directors of DTE Energy Company and Herman Miller, Inc. He was previously a member of the board of the Southeast Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross in Detroit, Michigan.
