American Pacific Rim Commerce Group Announces Online Shopping in China Gaining Ground
CITRA, Fla., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Pacific Rim Commerce Group (Pink Sheets: APRM) (www.aprcg.com) announces today the Chinese ecommerce online retail sales market increased 117 percent annually between 2007 and 2009, and is expected to reach 450 billion yuan (US $66.45 billion) this year, according to the research center of Alibaba Group, which runs the global e-commerce site Alibaba.com.
As of June 2010, the number of Internet users in China climbed to 420 million, 36 million more than the end of 2009, according to a report from the China Internet Network Information Center. Further, 95 percent of online consumers in China are planning a web purchase in the next six months according to Nielsen Online the online division of Nielsen.
