CHICAGO, Dec. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rita Forden was named chief executive officer of the American Osteopathic Foundation, the largest nationwide foundation supporting programs and services that enhance patient care and promote osteopathic medicine.
As CEO, Forden will oversee strategy and development efforts at the American Osteopathic Foundation to further support and invest in the osteopathic profession through collaborative partnerships, research grants, humanitarian and educational scholarships and innovative osteopathic programs.
Forden was recently chief operating officer and board treasurer of the Corporate Leadership Center. She has also served as chief executive officer at Susan G. Komen, Chicago, and chief development officer at the American Cancer Society.
A graduate of Loyola University, Forden has more than twenty years of experience in senior-level development, with a proven track record of increasing return on staff and volunteer investments and improving employee and volunteer development. Over her career, Forden has raised funds in excess of $500 million.
