American Media, Inc. Names Saverio M. Flemma Vice President of Financial Planning/M&A and Business Development
NEW YORK, Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AMI Chairman, President and CEO, David J. Pecker, announced today that Saverio Flemma has been named Vice President of Financial Planning/M&A and Business Development.
In his new role at AMI, Mr. Flemma will be responsible for financial planning analysis, business development and M&A.

He was my lead financial advisor in 1998 when I first acquired American Media and has provided me with outstanding guidance since then at many pivotal points in AMI's development. Mr. Flemma has an extensive background in media investment banking having led advisory and financing transactions for some of the largest media and entertainment companies such as CBS, Viacom, Disney, Cablevision and Time Warner. Flemma was a Managing Director of Media Investment Banking for Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. as well as at Banc of America Securities LLC and Chase Securities Inc. Throughout his remarkable career Mr. Flemma has provided financial and M&A advisory and financing advise to many of the largest media companies.
