American Media, Inc. Announces John Graney as Vice President/Publisher of Men's Fitness
NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- David J. Pecker, Chairman, President and CEO of American Media, Inc. (AMI), today announced the appointment of John Graney as Vice President/Publisher of Men's Fitness. Graney will be responsible for the brand across all multi-media platforms, including print and digital.
Men's Fitness magazine reaches young, performance-driven men by using a unique editorial format that mixes fitness with fashion, grooming, sports and other pastimes that comprise an active lifestyle. The magazine is part of AMI's Enthusiast Group of titles, including Muscle & Fitness and Flex.
Prior to being named Vice President/Publisher of Men's Fitness, John Graney, who boasts close to 20 years of industry experience, served as Associate Publisher for The Bonnier Corporation's Field & Stream, Outdoor Life and SHOT Business magazines. Graney, with his team of 15, handled national print and digital sales since 2006.
His previous sales experience includes management positions for Hearst's Country Living magazine and Country Living Gardener magazine, as well as for titles formerly known as Times Mirror Magazines.
