American Indian College Fund Receives $75,000 for Scholarships from Citi Foundation
DENVER, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Citi Foundation granted $75,000 to the American Indian College Fund to continue the Citi Foundation Scholarship & Career Exploration Program. This program provides scholarships to Native students attending the following tribal colleges and universities in South Dakota: Sisseton Wahpeton College, Oglala Lakota College, or Sinte Gleska University. The Citi Foundation also sponsors a one-day career fair at a South Dakota tribal college where Citi representatives, tribal program administrators, and city/county department officials introduce students to career opportunities around South Dakota and beyond.
