American India Foundation Orange County Chapter's Inaugural Gala to Feature Former U.S. Ambassador to India and Former Ohio Governor Richard F. Celeste as Keynote Speaker
SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The American India Foundation's (AIF) Orange County chapter, which began in the summer of 2013, will hold its inaugural gala on Saturday, March 8, 2014, beginning with a cocktail reception at 6:00PM. The evening is an occasion for AIF to celebrate its success as one of the leading Indian diaspora philanthropies, and highlight the Digital Equalizer program, which utilizes technology to bridge the digital divide in India and transform under-resourced schools into dynamic places to teach and learn through collaborative, project-based learning.
The Gala will be chaired by M S International, Inc. and the Tarsadia Foundation, and will feature Former U.S. Ambassador to India and Former Governor of Ohio Richard F. Celeste as the keynote speaker. Rohit Shukla will act as Master of Ceremonies for the evening, and multicultural dance group JazzXchange will provide entertainment. The event will also feature AIF William J. Clinton Fellowship Alumnus Charles Ianuzzi as a guest speaker, to share his experience working on the ground in India.
