American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP Discloses Unit Purchases by Company Insiders
VANCOUVER, Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP ("AHIP", the "Company") (TSX: HOT.UN, HOT.U, and HOT.DB.U) discloses that John O'Neill, CEO, purchased 75,000 additional units in the past two weeks, through open market purchases. Since joining AHIP as CEO on October 1, 2018, Mr. O'Neill has also acquired 6,455 units through an automatic securities purchase plan, provided as part of his agreement with the Company to take 100% of his compensation in the form of equity.
In addition to John O'Neill's unit purchases, five other insiders have purchased AHIP units on the open market in the past three weeks: four Board Directors, Rob O'Neill, Steve Evans, Beth Walters and Michael Murphy, collectively purchased 186,350 units and $84,200 worth of debentures; and Ian McAuley, President, purchased 1,400 units.
These insider purchases have also been disclosed through regulatory filings.
