American Homes 4 Rent's Bryan Smith Honored by UCLA's IS Associates for Business Innovation

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Nov. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) (the "Company"), a leading provider of high quality single-family homes for rent, today announced that, on November 17, 2016, UCLA's IS Associates, Southern California's leading group of information technology executives, presented its annual Executive Leadership Award (ELA) to UCLA alumnus, Bryan Smith, Executive Vice President and President of Property Management of American Homes 4 Rent. Sponsored by the UCLA Office of Information Technology, the IS Associates' award is given to a senior general management executive who has brought information systems into the most strategic and high-level decision-making processes, as well as into widespread use throughout the organization.

He is a licensed real estate broker and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. He is responsible for property management operations nationwide. Smith earned a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA in 1996 and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2002.
