American Heart Association Announces New Members Of The Metro Chicago Board Of Directors
Dr. Bradley Marino of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago named president of the board
CHICAGO, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Heart Association today announced the addition of seven new members to the Metro Chicago Board of Directors. These board members join a group of healthcare professionals and business and community leaders who lead the association's mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, through oversight of local revenue generation and health impact activities.
The new board members are:
- Opella Ernest, MD, chief clinical officer at Health Care Service Corporation
- Chet Robson, DO, medical director of Clinical Programs and Quality at Walgreens
- Michael J. Dandorph, president of Rush University Medical Center
- Jennifer M. Bell, regional managing director at Aon
- Sarah Song, MD, assistant professor, Department of Neurology at Rush University Medical Center
- Robert Litt, partner at KPMG
- Virginia Friesen, vice president of the Heart Institute at Advocate Aurora Health Care
Bradley Marino, MD has assumed the role of president of the board. Dr. Marino is a physician in the divisions of Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
