American Electric Power (AEP) Selects The Austin Company to Construct New Facility

BRIDGMAN, Mich., Dec. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Austin Company (www.theaustin.com) was selected by American Electric Power (AEP) to complete the construction of AEP's new North Access Building and Technical Support Center at their Donald C. Cook Nuclear Generating Plant in Bridgman, Michigan.

At completion, the new North Access Building and Technical Support Center will act as the main communication and security processing center for anyone needing access to site, including over 2,000 contractors and employees during its scheduled fall 2017 refueling. Austin partnered with Mead & White, a leading electrical contractor in the region, for the project.
