American Eagle Announces Daily Nonstop Service Between Miami and Gainesville, Fla.

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, today announced nonstop service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) in Gainesville, Fla., beginning Oct. 1. Eagle will operate the service with 64-seat Super ATR aircraft.

"Our passengers have been asking for this new service. Connecting these two communities is proof of our ongoing commitment to increase service from our Miami hub. It will also offer passengers from the Gainesville area the ability to connect to destinations throughout the U.S., the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe."

American Eagle also announced the reinstatement of seasonal service four days a week from Miami to Treasure Cay Airport (TCB) on Grand Abaco Island in the Bahamas, starting Nov. 18. Eagle will also serve this island paradise with Super-ATR aircraft.
