American Eagle Airlines Launches Nonstop Jet Service From Sioux Falls, S.D., to Chicago O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth
AAdvantage Bonus Miles Offers Available On New Routes
FORT WORTH, Texas, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, today celebrated the launch of nonstop jet service from Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Eagle will operate the service with 44- and 50-seat Embraer jets.
"American Eagle is extremely proud to reintroduce service from Sioux Falls to both Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth," said Gary Foss, Vice President – Marketing and Planning for American's Regional Network. "By linking South Dakota to two of American's largest hubs, customers can enjoy convenient connections on American Eagle to destinations throughout the American Airlines global network."
"American's service from Sioux Falls means that the world is now smaller and better connected," said Tom P. Walsh, Sr., Founder of Los Cabos Children's Foundation and owner of Burger Kings in South Dakota. "Since American began flying children from Los Cabos, Mexico, to Sioux Falls, S.D., for urgent medical treatment, it has become more apparent that there is a need for American's network to connect communities around the world. Not only do businesses grow, but most importantly, children and families are deeply impacted when communities come together to serve one another."
