American Eagle Airlines Announces Nonstop Jet Service Between Dallas/Fort Worth and Morelia, Mexico
Daily Service Showcases State Capital's Natural and Cultural Beauties
FORT WORTH, Texas, March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, announces daily nonstop jet service effective June 9 from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Morelia International Airport in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, subject to government approval. American Eagle will fly the route with 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 jet aircraft.

"These daily nonstop flights will link customers from throughout the state of Michoacan and those on the Pacific coast with American's largest hub, offering convenient connections throughout the oneworld® global network."

The state of Michaocan contains many nature preserves and significant historic locations. Morelia – marking its 550th year – is known for the United Nations World Heritage Site designation of its city center as well as its international film and music festivals.

In addition to Morelia and Mazatlan beginning June 9, other destinations include Acapulco, Aguascalientes, Cancun, Chihuahua, Cozumel, Guadalajara, Leon (Guanajuato), Los Cabos, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Torreon, Veracruz and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo.
