On May 15th at the National Press Club in Washington, the American Dental Association (ADA) will announce a major campaign to address the dental health crisis in the U.S. The ADA will share the results of a survey conducted in partnership with Harris Research, Inc., that will shed light on the factors affecting Americans' access to dental care, as well as a new research brief on the staggering number of people who turn to emergency rooms for relief of dental pain. The ADA will detail multiple new programs to provide care now to people in need, prevent future disease and educate more Americans about how to care for their teeth and gums. Members of Congress will be on hand to provide their perspectives and answer questions. |
