American Dairy, Inc. Announces Executive Share Purchase
BEIJING and LOS ANGELES, March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Dairy, Inc. (NYSE: ADY; "American Dairy" or the "Company"), one of the leading producers and distributors of premium infant formula, milk powder and soybean, rice and walnut products in China, today announced that its Chairman, Leng You-Bin, has purchased the Company's common shares on the open market in the amount of approximately $1 million.
On March 17, 2010, Mr. Leng purchased a total of 47,890 common shares with market prices ranging between $20.699 and $20.880 per share. As a result of the transaction, Mr. Leng holds 8,948,025 shares, or approximately 41% of the shares outstanding.
Mr. Leng You-Bin, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "This move reflects my personal confidence in our business model and long-term prospects as we strive to be the leading infant formula brand in China."
