American Brain Tumor Association Annual Conference to Focus on Redefining Survivorship through Science, Technology and Clinical Innovation

CHICAGO, June 14, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Brain Tumor Association's (ABTA) annual patient and family conference, being held in Chicago August 4-5, is geared toward providing brain tumor patients and their families with tangible solutions for living with a brain tumor. "Receiving and then living with a brain tumor diagnosis is fraught with challenges not the least of which is keeping pace with rapidly emerging developments in research and care and their impact on the patient's treatment options, outcomes and survivorship," said Elizabeth Wilson, ABTA President and CEO.   "This year's program focuses on how advancements in the understanding and treatment of brain tumors are improving and extending the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease."
