American Bar Endowment and New York Life Insurance Company Celebrate 60-Year Partnership
New York Life's Oldest Affinity Relationship is Strong
CHICAGO, Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Bar Endowment and New York Life Insurance Company are marking 60 years in a partnership that offers qualified lawyers quality, affordable group insurance plans. The long-standing partnership with the American Bar Endowment is New York Life's oldest affinity relationship.

The American Bar Endowment, founded in 1942, is a nonprofit organization that provides insurance plans exclusively to qualified lawyers. These unique and affordable plans are underwritten by trusted insurers like New York Life and offer a charitable giving option. Insured lawyers are able to make tax-deductible donations of their dividends to enhance the Endowment's charitable mission of improving the administration of justice.
Grants from the Endowment, made possible by Endowment-insureds' dividend donations, through 2015 total more than $270 million. These grants support hundreds of law-related public service, educational and research programs and projects.
