American Association of Nurse Practitioners reaches 70,000 member milestone

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), today announced it has reached the milestone of 70,000 members.  AANP is the largest national membership organization for nurse practitioners of all specialties. From its inception in 1985 as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with a membership of 100 NPs, through the merger with the American College of Nurse Practitioners in 2013, the organization has maintained steady annual double digit growth.
