American Airlines Reports November Traffic
FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines reported a November load factor of 82.3 percent, an increase of 1.9 points versus the same period last year. Capacity was lower by 4.0 percent, while traffic was lower by 1.7 percent year-over-year.
International traffic was lower by 1.8 percent on 2.3 percent less capacity, resulting in an increase in international load factor of 0.5 points versus November of last year. Domestic load factor was 84.3 percent, an increase of 2.8 points year-over-year. Domestic capacity and traffic were lower by 5.0 and 1.7 percent year-over-year respectively.
American boarded 6.8 million passengers in November.
