American Airlines Offers Low Introductory Fares and Up to Triple AAdvantage Miles on New Los Angeles - Shanghai Service
Fares as Low as $378 Each Way Based on Round-Trip Purchase
FORT WORTH, Texas, March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the launch of its new service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), American Airlines is offering low introductory fares and American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles to customers flying the new route.
For a limited time, customers can book travel between Los Angeles and Shanghai for as low as $378 each way, based on the purchase of a round-trip ticket. Details are as follows:

In addition, customers can earn up to triple AAdvantage miles by flying on a purchased First Class or Business Class fare, which adds up to more than 20,000 miles for a one-way trip. Customers who fly on a purchased Economy Class fare can earn up to double AAdvantage miles. The bonus miles offer is valid for travel between April 5 and June 30. The Los Angeles to Shanghai route will enhance American's customer service to China and its schedules at LAX, which will boast more than 150 daily departures on American Airlines and American Eagle beginning April 5.
Fare Sale Terms and Conditions
Introductory fares shown are each way based on round-trip Economy class travel purchased on AA.com, and are in U.S. dollars. Fares shown are valid daily. Fares shown do not include (a) $9 per round trip in local airport charges; (b) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport; and (c) other U.S. and foreign government imposed taxes and fees of approximately $60 per round-trip. Seats are limited and fares shown may not be available on all flights. Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice. International fares are subject to government approval.

Tickets must be purchased at least 7 days prior to departure or within 1 day of making reservations, whichever comes first, but no later than 11:59 p.m. (CT) March 28, 2011. Fares are valid for outbound travel April 5, 2011, through May 5, 2011. All travel must be complete by July 5, 2011. A 3-night minimum stay is required and a 2 month maximum stay is allowed. Fares are valid only on AA nonstop flights 183 and 182 between Los Angeles and Shanghai.
