American Airlines Expands Asian Service With New Flights to Shanghai, China
New Los Angeles Service Now an Easy Connection from Austin
FORT WORTH, Texas, April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines today begins its new nonstop Shanghai, China, service with daily flights from Los Angeles International Airport. American will fly the route with Boeing 777 aircraft which feature 16 First Class, 37 Business Class and 194 Economy Class seats.

"Companies from Austin and Shanghai have been doing business together for years, but now we can make travel between the two easier with our new daily Shanghai flight. The new Shanghai service departs Los Angeles at 3:10 p.m. each day. It is part of a major expansion of the Los Angeles cornerstone hub that will see more than 30 flights added today to 15 communities for a total of over 150 daily flights.
