American Airlines Brings Holiday Cheer to LaGuardia and JFK International Airports
The New York Pops and Choir Academy of Harlem to Perform Holiday Favorites at American Airlines Terminals in New York City
NEW YORK, Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of The New York Pops orchestra and the High School Performance Choir from the Choir Academy of Harlem will celebrate the holidays by entertaining American Airlines passengers with free performances at LaGuardia and JFK International Airports. Jazz trios, quartets and quintets will represent The New York Pops and up to 25 members of the Choir Academy's Performance Choir will sing.
Throughout the month of December, air travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy festive holiday tunes such as "Jingle Bells," "We Need a Little Christmas," "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" performed by The New York Pops musicians. The High School Performance Choir will present its own festive concert with such swinging seasonal favorites as "Carol of the Bells" and "Joy to the World" with special renditions of "O Come, All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night."
