American Airlines Adds Extra Super Bowl Flights to and From South Florida - Miami and Fort Lauderdale
Additional Flights from New Orleans and Indianapolis Complement American's Large South Florida Network
FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines said today it is adding additional flights into, and out of, both Miami and Fort Lauderdale to accommodate extra demand for travel to and from the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 7.
Additional inbound flights to South Florida on Friday, Feb. 5, include a nonstop from New Orleans to Fort Lauderdale, as well as a nonstop flight from Indianapolis to Miami.
After the big game, additional return flights out of South Florida will be on Monday, Feb. 8, and include two nonstops to New Orleans – one from Miami and one from Fort Lauderdale, as well as an extra flight to Indianapolis from Miami.
Those wishing to book these special, additional flights should contact American Airlines Reservations immediately at 800-433-7300. The flights will also be available for booking on American's Web site, AA.com, beginning this Saturday.
American also said it is seeing strong bookings around the Super Bowl on its normally-scheduled flights into, and out of, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. American's Miami hub currently offers 274 daily departures on American and American Eagle, providing excellent connections throughout American's worldwide network.
