American Airlines AAdvantage Program Named Program Of The Year At The 2012 Freddie Awards
AAdvantage Takes Home More Freddie Awards Than Any Other Airline
FORT WORTH, Texas, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines is celebrating four honors received by the AAdvantage® loyalty program at the 2012 Freddie Awards. The four awards – more than any other airline – include Airline Program of the Year; Best Elite Program; Best Promotion (earning); and Best Customer Service.
"Over the past year, the AAdvantage team at American Airlines has worked hard to offer the best options, rewards and – most importantly – customer service to our loyal members," said Suzanne Rubin, President – AAdvantage Loyalty Program. "It's a tremendous honor to receive these awards directly from our customers. It is their loyalty and enthusiasm that makes the AAdvantage program so successful."
Since 1988, the Freddie Awards have recognized achievements in the travel loyalty industry. The awards, which honor both airline and hotel loyalty programs, are based entirely on votes by travelers across the world. This year, more than 1 million online votes were cast.
