Ameren Corporation and Employees Aid Tornado Victims
ST. LOUIS, May 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In the wake of the May 20 tornado and severe weather that impacted communities in the Midwest, Ameren Corporation and its employees are donating $25,000 to assist storm victims in Oklahoma and aid the American Red Cross with their relief efforts.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Moore, Okla., and surrounding areas who have experienced the loss of loved ones and property from this devastating tornado," said Warner Baxter, president and CEO of Ameren Missouri. "As Midwesterners, we know full well the impact severe weather can have on the lives and communities we serve. We have a responsibility to help our neighbors in need."

Ameren employees will also be able to donate to the recovery efforts by making a one-time gift, or through payroll deduction in June and July.
