Amdocs Hosts Forum for Advertising and Media Customers and Partners
Executives from directory publishers attend gathering to discuss strategies for driving growth and successful online transformation
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, recently held its Advertising and Media InTouch Customer Forum 2010. Senior executives from leading directory publishers around the world, as well as third-party partners, attended the event devoted to strategies for driving growth and online transformation for leadership in the local advertising market.
Executives from North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin American attended the event in Venice, Italy. Guest speakers included executives from the Eniro Group, Dex One, Golden Pages Israel and Seccion Amarilla, who shared their best practices for digital growth and sales productivity. Amdocs also showcased its digital advertising and sales productivity offerings and engaged with customers to discuss future product strategy.
"We came to Amdocs InTouch to learn about market trends and discuss with our peers the challenges we face," said Erkko Simsio, Head of Media and Products and Services at Eniro Group, the largest directory and search company in the Nordics. "The presentations and discussions were both provocative and enlightening, with delegates sharing strategies on how to evolve to meet the new market conditions."
The strategic choices facing directory publishers today range from becoming an advertising agency and outsourcing all products and services to becoming a consumer-focused multi-media publishing house. The forum discussed transformation strategies for achieving these aims and ways to reduce costs by evolving legacy systems. Participants also examined new tools and processes for boosting sales productivity as well as ways to enhance the consumer experience to drive traffic and lead generation.
Earlier this year, Amdocs announced a number of managed services deals with several directory publishers, including Eniro, AT&T Services Inc. and Sensis.
