ST. LOUIS, Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and services, today announced a five-year extension of its relationship with True Corporation (True), the only quad-play provider in Thailand, for ongoing support and development of True's convergent billing platform. The extension follows Amdocs' successful deployment of convergent billing at True for the support of innovative, personalized bundled offerings designed to enhance the customer experience and increase operational efficiencies. True has also selected Amdocs for a project to enhance the company's enterprise billing capabilities.

The Amdocs convergent billing solution allows True to charge for any combination of services in a simple, all-inclusive bill, and supports the bundling of services across all lines of business, reducing time to market for innovative new services and improving the customer experience. With the new enterprise billing enhancement, True will be able to offer its corporate customers new features, such as pooled allowances that enable the sharing of allowances between units in a given organization. Corporate customers will also be able to set maximum limits on shared allowances, send SMS alerts to preferred contacts in the corporate hierarchy and distribute their charges between the different units within the organization.
"Amdocs has helped us become a one-stop-shop for all the communication services a customer needs, be it a mobile phone, a landline phone, Internet access, digital TV services or any combination," said Khun Pichit Thanyodom, chief information officer at True. "With constant changes in market demands and rising customer expectations, we wanted to continue to benefit from Amdocs' wealth of experience and expertise in enhancing and improving our enterprise billing capability, in addition to supporting the significant rise in our postpaid customers."
"The Amdocs solution enables True to deliver innovative, converged and tailored service bundles, and with the enhanced enterprise billing features, True's corporate customers will enjoy greater flexibility and efficiency, thereby improving the customer experience and customer loyalty with all its end users," said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president of product and solutions marketing at Amdocs. "And, by providing customers with a single, integrated bill for all services, True is able to reduce total cost of ownership and improve operational efficiencies."
