Ambassador John Bolton Endorses VA Congressional Candidate Barbara Comstock

WASHINGTON, June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ambassador John Bolton endorses Barbara Comstock and the John Bolton PAC will contribute to her campaign for Virginia's 10^th Congressional District. This will be among the first campaign contributions from the John Bolton PAC. Comstock, having already won the primary election, faces Nancy Pelosi's chosen candidate in a heated race for Northern Virginia. Seen by the national parties as a bellwether contest, Mitt Romney carried the district by just 1% in 2013.

According to Ambassador Bolton, "Comstock is a candidate who has proven herself as a leader with deep experience and know-how, which will enable her to serve Virginia constituents well in Congress. Furthermore, in today's uncertain world, she understands the need to reintroduce America's leadership in foreign affairs."

The John Bolton PAC is committed to supporting candidates for the House and Senate who believe in restoring America's national security, while the John Bolton Super PAC aims to make America's defense and foreign policy a significant factor in federal elections. Together, the PACs have raised over $3M in eight months, with Ambassador Bolton committed to endorsing up to 35 candidates in the 2014 midterm election.

This is among John Bolton PAC's first contributions, therefore the donation is $2,600 for the general election, followed by another $2,400 once three other candidates receive contributions from the PAC, thus satisfying the Federal election law requirement.
