Ambassador Bolton To Speak At The New Hampshire 'Politics & Eggs' Series
Bolton will be hosted by The New England Council and The New Hampshire Institute of Politics.
WASHINGTON, Jan. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ambassador John Bolton will speak at the "Politics & Eggs" breakfast series in New Hampshire on Monday, Feb. 2. Bolton's remarks will address the significance of national security issues and leadership at a time when America is facing increasingly destabilizing global factors. Following the breakfast Bolton will meet with Charlie Arlinghaus, President of the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy, and have lunch at The Barley House in Concord, a staple in New Hampshire politics.
"It is crucial that national security policy is at the center of the 2016 Presidential debate," Bolton said. "If the safety of the country and our interests can not be guaranteed, the rest of the issues fade."
The "Politics & Eggs" series is a forum for presidential candidates, political leaders, and other political analysts and commentators as they visit New Hampshire, home of the nation's first presidential primaries. The series is a joint initiative of The New England Council and The New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library at Saint Anselm College.
"I am very pleased to speak at the Politics & Eggs breakfast," Bolton said. "I spent a lot of time in New Hampshire supporting candidates in the 2014 midterm elections; it's good to be back to discuss with New Hampshirites their priorities in the coming years."
During the 2014 election cycle, Ambassador Bolton's PAC and SuperPAC raised a combined amount of $7.5 million and endorsed Republican candidates throughout the country, including New Hampshire Congressman Frank Guinta. In addition, the John Bolton PAC and SuperPAC have made contributions of more than $470,000 to candidates who demonstrated commitment to promoting strong national security policy.
The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, Feb. 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at The New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College, followed by a press availability. Please RSVP to Emily Heisig at [email protected].
