Statements on the candidates:
Bolton on Bost: "Mike is a highly charismatic and hard working leader. He is an ardent supporter of agricultural innovation, a strong national defense, and responsible government spending. He believes in providing the U.S. taxpayer with an America that is committed to energy independence, and a military that is ready and capable to counter any threat, anywhere, and at any time. Mike will be a proactive leader for southern Illinois."
Bolton on Heck: "Having served in the Army Reserves in both Bosnia and Iraq, Joe is no stranger to American intervention abroad. He is a dedicated man who has served his country honorably on the House Armed Services Subcommittee for Intelligence, Emerging Threats and Capabilities."
Bolton on Katko: "John has a precocious sense for the importance of military preparedness in light of today's global security challenges. He understands how the proper resource allocation for our troops cannot be sacrificed on the altar of political expedience. His clear eyed vision for America will make him an important member of the House."
Bolton on King: "Steve King has played a crucial role in safeguarding the security and well-being of all Americans. As a representative of one of the United States' top agricultural producing districts, King has been an active proponent for reducing American dependence on foreign oil and has supported many creative approaches towards achieving alternative energy solutions. His leadership has proven highly effective in getting things done and protecting the interests of Iowans, no matter what."
Bolton on LoBiondo: "As a member of the House Armed Services and Select Intelligence Committee, Frank has an acute understanding for our country's most alarming and emerging threats, particularly in North Africa. He has also been an outspoken advocate against trying terrorists in civilian courts while being an uncompromising voice for promoting our nation's homeland security."
Bolton on Rounds: "Mike Rounds provides South Dakotans with experience, leadership, and an utmost commitment towards helping his state create jobs and maintain its edge in agricultural exports. He supports the Keystone Pipeline and the boost it will bring to the state's economy, along with the valuable jobs that will be created for South Dakotans in the years ahead."
Bolton on Shilling: "Bob is a family man, experienced small business owner and legislator. Having already served in the U.S. House and on the Armed Services Committee, he knows what it takes to lead and how to best serve the 17th district in both Illinois and Washington."
Bolton on Southerland: "A principled and vocal leader, Steve has a steadfast record for protecting and encouraging the value of hard work for Americans. He has been a champion for fiscal conservatism, and has sought to combat the abuse and misuse of government entitlement programs. His no-nonsense approach to governance makes him a fine Floridian legislator and representative in Washington."
Bolton on Tisei: "As the former Minority Leader in the Massachusetts Senate, Richard knows how to legislate and lead. A strong supporter of Israel, and Veterans care, there is no doubt Richard is the best candidate for the 6th district of Massachusetts."
Bolton on Walorski: "As a member of the House Armed Services and Veterans Affairs Committees, Jackie has served as a staunch defender of the brave Americans who chose to serve our country in the military. She has a profound sense of sacrifice and public service, and a promising future in Indiana politics."
