Aluminum Association Announces Recycled Aluminum-Inspired Photo Scavenger Hunt
Prizes Include Aluminum Backed iPad 2, Kindle 2, and iPod Nano
ARLINGTON, Va., July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Aluminum Association is proud to announce its first photo scavenger hunt contest. This is a great opportunity for teams to have fun and learn a little about the many usages of aluminum in modern society and the sustainable aspects of the metal. Did you know that 75% of all aluminum created since 1886 is still in use today?
The contest will run Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31, 2011. Participants will form teams of two to five members and hunt for a list of aluminum items. The teams will then load the photographs to Flickr and email their entity information to [email protected].
All teams capturing 20 or more items will be entered into a drawing and winners will be chosen randomly. Members of the "Grand Prize" winning team will receive iPad 2s. If you do not win the grand prize, there is no need to worry; there are other high-tech aluminum gadgets for other winners. Second place team members will receive Kindle 2s and third place team members, silver iPod Nanos.
U.S. residents of the 50 states and Washington D.C. (excluding Puerto Rico) over the age of majority it their state are able to enter.
In order to ensure the photographs were taking by the team, you are encouraged to capture pictures of you and your team using these aluminum products in your everyday life. Additionally, you and your team will need to create an aluminum "totem" that is present in all of your pictures.
The contest will be exclusively governed by the official rules, which can be found at: www.aluminum.org/scavengerhunt.
