Since Saturday, 1 November, an extensive communication campaign has been underway to encourage all employees to show their support and solidarity in this men's health initiative, posting their moustached photo or photos on the network page. A viral campaign was launched on Facebook and Twitter offering everyone, whiskered pictures in hand, the chance to nominate five friends, encouraging them in turn to support #Movember.

"With Altran we support #Movember"
Frédéric Fougerat, Group Vice-President Communications, stated: "Altran is already committed to the fight against cancer with the 2014 award of its Foundation for Innovation in France, as well as a partnership with the Cancer@Work association. Our support for #Movember strengthens this commitment and unites employees around an initiative in the public interest."
(*) Movember, a portmanteau word combining "moustache" and "November", is an initiative encouraging men to grow moustaches during the month of November to focus attention, start a dialogue around men's health issues, which are often taboo subjects, and attract donations for programmes to fight prostate and testicular cancer. Created in 1999 in Australia, the initiative has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon.
