Altitude Organic Corporation Targets Several Colorado Dispensaries for Acquisition
Altitude Organic, one of the country's only publicly traded medical marijuana companies, begins its campaign to acquire dispensaries in Colorado.
PHOENIX and DENVER, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Altitude Organic Corporation, a division of Tranzbyte Corporation, ERBB (OTC:PK) is pleased to announce the company plans to make offers on several dispensaries in the State of Colorado. The company believes that the select dispensaries it has targeted would greatly benefit from the management expertise and leadership capabilities of Altitude Organic personnel once the acquisitions are approved by the individual dispensary owners and the state. Final transfer approval of all dispensaries in Colorado rests with The Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division. The MMED is a division of Colorado's department of revenue and is the state's clearinghouse for all licensing and license transfer approvals.
Altitude Organic Corporation president Brian Cook stated, "As most of our shareholders are aware, our company has learned to adapt to an ever-changing playing field as medical marijuana becomes legal throughout our great country. The delays we have experienced in Arizona and, to some extent, Colorado, have served as a learning process from which we fully expect to take advantage."
Tranzbyte president, David Gwyther, agrees, "As we embark on this acquisition process, we expect to begin accruing significant revenue from the Altitude Organic dispensary properties which I believe will greatly enhance the valuation of our company."
Altitude's Brian Cook concludes, "Colorado's 'for-profit' medical marijuana state model is the best place to target new acquisitions immediately. We have initiated a diligent investigation into the pros and cons of these early opportunities, and I will make certain we proceed with caution during our initial acquisition process in an effort to develop a template that works for all participants - the seller, our future retail customers, our company, and the State of Colorado.
