Altera General Counsel, Katherine E. Schuelke, Receives Award Honoring Silicon Valley's Executive Women

Schuelke, senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Altera, is a recipient of the 27th Annual YWCA of Silicon Valley Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award.  The TWIN Award is one of Silicon Valley's most prestigious awards.  The award recognizes successful women executives for outstanding achievement in leadership and in making critical contributions to their companies.

As senior vice president, Ms. Schuelke is responsible for all of the company's legal matters, including support for revenue-generating activities, as well as corporate governance issues, legal compliance, litigation, intellectual property protection, acquisitions and other transactions.  She is a role model and mentor for many women at Altera, is an active participant in Altera's leadership development programs, and is the executive sponsor of the company's diversity initiative.
