KIRKLAND, Wash., Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This list, which is the most comprehensive assessment of private companies in the U.S., celebrates the entrepreneurial nature of the nation's most innovative business endeavors. Among the 500 honored companies, AltaSource Group ranked as the:

Over the past three years, AltaSource Group has accomplished a 1,997% growth rate which places them at the top of an elite group of companies where the average three-year growth reported was 516 percent.

The 2014 list is compiled based on data of revenue growth from 2010 to 2013. To be included in the list, the companies had to have been established and operating by March 31, 2010, and had to remain U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent through December 31, 2013. They also needed to have acquired a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2010 and $2 million in 2013.
