alpha-En Corporation Shares Now Quoted on OTCQB
Move Up Adds Greater Pricing Transparency, Information on Trading Liquidity
TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Jan. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- alpha-En Corporation (OTCQB: ALPE), an innovative clean technology company focused on enabling next-generation battery technologies by producing high purity lithium metal and associated products, announced today that it has been approved to move from the Pink Sheets to the OTCQB marketplace and is being quoted there as of today.
To be eligible to trade on the OTCQB, companies must be current in their reporting and undergo an annual verification and management certification process. Earlier this month, alpha-En Corporation brought itself to full reporting status with the SEC by filing three quarterly reports to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the quarters ended March 31, 2016; June 30, 2016; and September 30, 2016.
The move up to the OTCQB marketplace adds greater pricing transparency and information on available trading liquidity for alpha-En shareholders and potential investors, noted alpha-En CEO Jerome Feldman.
"Moving up to the OTCQB is an important milestone for alpha-En, one that will significantly increase our exposure to institutional investors and to a much broader investment community overall," Feldman said. "This move comes at an especially important time for alpha-En, as we introduce our disruptive and environmentally sensitive technology for producing lithium to the high-tech, transportation and energy industries, among others."
