Along with the new BOJEM Jewelry collection, Joyee Zhao debuts during the NYFW as an appearance of the new oriental femininity that sparkles on the global stage
NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2018 Fall/Winter New York Fashion Week (NYFW) had its grand opening on February 9th. Invited by the NYFW official designer -- Lujin Zhang and Eva Xu as VIP guest, Joyee Zhao, the founder of BOJEM Jewelry, made her entrance to the show with her new luxury color stone collection.
For creative young designers, NYFW is a great opportunity that you just simply can't miss out. As the founder and chief designer of BOJEM Jewelry, Joyee came to this fashion carnival to connect with many designers for an exchange of their ideas on design and art.
Design is a chemical reaction of freedom and ideas
BOJEM jewelry, the first Chinese high-end color stone brand and its founder Joyee have always been interested in the fashion industry. During the NYFW, Joyee interacted with numerous outstanding designers from different backgrounds. As a jewelry designer, each work embodies her thought and shows her unique understanding of fashion. Joyee said, "There is always a connection between fashion and jewelry design, the design is a chemical reaction of freedom and ideas. My experience at NYFW gives me an opportunity to combine jewelry work with fashion design from a wider perspective. I hope one day I can bring BOJEM jewelry to the global stage."
Joyee comes a long journey from winning the only jewelry select fashion award during last September Paris fashion week to the Mrs. globe ambassador during the 21st Mrs globe competition. She completed her transformation step by step. Those experiences unveil BOJEM Jewelry to the global stage and establish Joyee herself as an excellent Chinese jewelry designer.
NYFW has brought together a lot of brilliant and thoughtful young designers. In addition, some designers from China especially give Joyee a lot of inspiration. From those designers, Joyee saw a lot of bold and edgy ideas. As a jewelry designer in China, Joyee thinks the experience at NYFW gives her multitudinous inspiration that she can add to the future design work. "Although I have accomplished many milestones before, I hope I will be able to bring more excellent design products to the public in the future." Joyee remarked when asked about her experience of NYFW.
The sparks of fashion
In recent years, more Chinese elements have appeared to the NYFW, especially thanks to a group of outstanding female designers. Their unique and edgy designs have increasingly attracted worldwide attention and appreciation.
Among those, Lujin Zhang becomes the topic that everyone's been talking about, she is the most popular fashion designer as well as the niche brand founder of LUJIN ZHANG, which has drawn lots of attention ever since it has been founded.
Another one is Eva Xu, who graduated from Tsinghua University and School of Art Institute of Chicago. Her brand All Comes From Nothing (ACFN) is a New York-based contemporary women's wear. Dedicated to women with creative lifestyles and bringing artist collaboration into minimal and urban silhouette, this year ACFN is going to be part of fashion week again.
As a close friend of Lujin Zhang and Eva Xu, Joyee was invited as the front row VIP guest to their fashion shows. During the Lujin Zhang fashion show on Feb.11, Joyee debuted in a red Valentino 18 S/S gown with BOJEM jewelry. While during the Eva Xu fashion show, Joyee was dressed in an elegant Sunvary couture gown. The Jimmy Choo silver high heels and Chanel classic flip spiced up the overall look on her.
Joyee had her expectation of the trip to New York , "I can experience the difference between New York (fashion week) and Paris (fashion week), and also support my best friends. I hope that the elements from the far east can bloom in the international platform."
