As Director of the two divisions, Aloise assumes the stewardship of more than 35,000 dairy workers and 60,000 food processing members across the country.
"I am honored that General President Hoffa has entrusted me with this responsibility," Aloise said. "I will do my best to represent the interests of every member in the Food Processing and Dairy divisions."
Aloise became a Teamster in June 1968, and has served in multiple leadership roles, including as Special Assistant to Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa, Chairman of the largest Teamsters health and welfare fund in northern California and Trustee on the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund.
"Rome Aloise has excelled in every leadership role that he has ever taken on," Hoffa said. "I have no doubt that his experience and vision will benefit all of our members in the food processing and dairy industries."
