Almost 1,000 Turn Out for Sold-Out CAIR Banquet
WASHINGTON, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Almost 1,000 community members, activists, diplomats, and civil rights and interfaith leaders turned out on Saturday evening for the 18th annual banquet of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Arlington, Va.
The sold out event, with the theme "Upholding Our Constitution, Defending Our Faith," followed CAIR's successful day-long Leadership Skills Training Conference.
